Think Tanx

By this point people are well and truly inured to working from home. To lure them back to the corporate campus why not vest the premises with little micro chambers which afford people the same privacy, comfort, and ability to work at leisure ? To such ends VRT proposes THINK TANX. Think Tanx provide a small office with shelving, a lockable door,

sound dampening fabrics / carpeting, and a small bunk for doing work best done while in a state of repose. Incidentally the bed is based on Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona couch. At one time having the Barcelona couch in your office signified C suite status but its unclear how much these couches were used. VRT aims to restore to the Barcelona couch its proper function as an instrument of repose :)

The Think Tank units are around 17 feet long, 6.5 feet wide. Each unit consists of two tanks, so that the footprint per user is around 56 sq ft. It is planned to construct the units out of 3/4 inch sheet goods joined together with Lamello Clamex fasteners. In this way the units can be shipped knocked down and easily and quickly assembled on site. As well the Clamex P-14 connector allows for easy disassembly. In fact as it is a metal to metal connector repeated assembly and disassembly are feasible without wear and tear.
