Wright Sized Courtyard Lot For Wright Sized Mobile Home

In the previous post I imagined a 3 bed 2 bath mobile home as designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. This post develops that theme to imagine how Wright might have designed suitable lots in a suburban subdivision for such a house. In the back left corner is a spa with chaise lounge chairs while to the right is a covered outdoor living room. In the middle of the lot is a covered dining area next to a covered outdoor kitchen at the lot front. The driveway is large enough for four cars. To the left of the driveway a paved path leads to the front door. Between the driveway and the outdoor kitchen is a separate 'cross-mod' building suitable for storage or workshop with a large, raised terrace to the front and running along the street.

The lots are around 100' L x 71' W excluding sidewalk to curb - for around 7,000 sq ft. or around 6 units per acre. If feasible utilities are buried and a low pressure sewer system is used about which more is found in this short video.

Low pressure sewers dispense with the individual septic tank often found in mobile home parks. The piping is much smaller and since the sewer works by pressure rather than gravity, are much more versatile and do not need to be as deep in the ground as a gravity sewer.
